Manage folders

In each project, main folder is the name of your project. You can add many sub folders with many level into.

Add folder

  1. Clicking on the [Vertical ellipsis] button on the folder that you want to create a sub-folder for.

    • System shows pop-up “Add new folder” MicrosoftTeams
  2. Fill in the mandatory fields for creating a folder:

    • Name: is a mandatory field while Description is an optional field
    • Description: A body of text describing the folder
  3. After filling in the fields, click on the [Save] Button to finalize any changes and create the  folder.   

Edit folder

  1. Clicking on the [Vertical ellipsis] button on the folder in which you want to edit

    • A pop-up will appear with ability to edit for the folder.
  2. Simply clicking on “Properties”

    • A pop-up will appear with all information of folder, you can edit Name and Description here MicrosoftTeams

    • You can edit Name and Description for Folder

    • These fields that you can just view

      • Created on: The date time that folder was created
      • Created by: The person that created folder
      • Modified On: The date time that folder was latest updated
  3. After editing, click on [Save] button to update new changes

You can rename Folder by 2 ways:

  1. Click on the [Vertical ellipsis] button on the folder in which you want to rename -> Choose Rename
  2. Double click to Name of folder -> There is a space in name of folder will appear with ability to rename folder

Delete folder

  1. Click on the [Vertical ellipsis] button on the folder in which you want to delete
    • A pop-up will appear with ability to delete folder.
  2. Simply click on “Delete”
    • A message pop-up will appear and ask “Are you sure you want to Delete?”
  3. Click on [Delete] button
    • System will remove the folder
